Can I pay toll charges with my ROUTEX fuel card?
Yes. With the ROUTEX fuel card, you can also pay toll charges in many European countries – for example on motorways, bridges, tunnels or ferries. The available toll services depend on the respective country and the services activated on your card.
Which charging stations can I use with Routex?
Depending on the offer you have selected, the ROUTEX fuel card can also be used to charge your electric vehicle at one of Europe’s largest charging networks. This includes numerous public AC and DC charging stations operated by various providers across many European countries. Overall, you have access to up to several hundred thousand charging points throughout Europe, including fast-charging stations along major transport routes and public charging points in urban areas.
Can I pay for vignettes with my ROUTEX fuel card?
Yes. With the ROUTEX fuel card, you can also pay for digital vignettes and distance-based toll charges in many European countries – depending on the respective country and the services activated on your card. This includes motorway vignettes, tunnel and bridge tolls, city tolls, ferries, and other road charges. The vignette and toll services available to you depend on the country of use and your contract.
How does a ROUTEX fuel card work?
With the ROUTEX fuel card, you can pay cashlessly for fuel, EV charging and other vehicle-related services through a centralized monthly invoice. When refuelling or charging, simply use the card at the station and usually confirm the transaction with your PIN and vehicle mileage. All transactions are then consolidated by the card issuer into a single invoice. Depending on the services activated, the ROUTEX fuel card can also be used for tolls, vignettes, vehicle washing and other fleet-related services. The card is accepted at around 30,000 locations within the ROUTEX network of Aral, bp, Circle K, Enilive and OMV across 32 European countries.
What does a ROUTEX fuel card cost?
The cost of a ROUTEX fuel card depends on the respective card issuer, the range of services included, and the number of cards required. ROUTEX itself does not set standardized pricing. Typically, the costs may include:
- a monthly card fee service or administration fees
- charges for additional services such as tolls, vignettes or e-mobility
- possible transaction fees or international usage fees.
The exact terms and conditions are available directly from the respective ROUTEX partner or as part of an individual fleet offer.
